Just saw that I just hit 400 followers…

I don’t know what makes me so special, that 400 people want to know what I have to say and think (you silly people, you), but in the footsteps of a very incredible priest, I would like to take this moment to remind you, my dear followers, of who I follow!

He was born in Bethlehem among dirty barn animals.
He preached an ironic message which calls each and every one of us to love above common sense.
He died for me, He died for you, and He even died for your enemy.
He won for us everlasting life and is the Shepard which will search for us unceasingly until He brings us home.

His name is Jesus…
…and I am humbled and filled with joy to follow Him on my Catholic journey He has prepared for me.

So, I just want to show off some work I have done.

Annually at my college, we hold what is called a Jesus All-Nighter.
Basically, we open with a mass, and then expose Christ in the Blessed Sacrament for the next 24 hours, and finish off with mass to close.

It’s a beautiful thing. Actually, it is fantastic! We do a variety of events from the Divine Mercy Concert,  Faith Sharing, and Glowing Night Rosary (which is saying the rosary on the soccer field by walking from giant glow stick to giant glow stick). Not to mention we also do Praise and Worship, Pizza with the Padre, and so much more!

So these are the social media ads I made for it and I must say that I am rather proud of them and I hope you enjoy them for what they are.

We learn to suffer things for the love of Christ. We offer him our burdens and our heavy hearts and He accepts them with great love and through His love, We learn to offer these things with joy and a smile. For these things are passing and fleeting. They too shall pass and soon joy will be the only thing to encompass and radiate through our hearts.

For what right-minded Arab would buy from a Jew?

You know what it is like to be unemployed and still have to provide for your family.

I ask you now with earnest yearning and a deep ache in my heart.

Pray unceasingly that both of my parents find a job.

I think their cross burdens me more than them sometimes since I continue my mantra, “God doesn’t give you anything that you cannot handle.”

Well now I am questioning that somewhere inside the recesses of my mind.

O glorified husband of the most beautiful Virgin Mother of our Lord, unite yourself in prayer with her, that my sorrowful cross may be placed at the foot of my Jesus.

My Jesus, who came down to Earth to understand the pains of man. May He take my cross and bring it to the face of the Father who relieves all burdens.

Until then, I will continue to pray in yearning for this cup to be taken from us and repeat my comforting mantra, “God doesn’t give us anything which we cannot handle.”
